A Teacher Professional Development Presenter can present Kids ‘n' Music Professional Development to carers, parents and teachers. There are three possible levels that a Teacher PD Presenter can achieve:-
Level 1 - Trainee
A person who is going for their Level 1 is in training for the first five Workshops. Should all criteria be fulfilled, you will receive a Level 1 Certificate and be promoted to Level 2. You will need to:-
- Be a qualified teacher
- Complete the 10 Start Up Steps
- Have templates provided to you for the first five Workshops
- Record your third session on DVD to be viewed and assessed by Leonie
- Record your fifth session on DVD to be viewed, assessed and passed by Leonie
Level 2 - Accredited
A person who is going for their Level 2 will continue to present another five Workshops. Should all criteria be fulfilled, you will receive a Level 2 Certificate and be promoted to Level 3. You will need to:-
- Adjust your own templates with guidance from Leonie
- Record your fifth session on DVD to be viewed, assessed and passed by Leonie
- Continue to present Workshops
Level 3 - Trainer
Level 3 is designed for those who wish to take their own personal music education goals further. A person who has reached their Level 3 is capable of training potential Kids ‘n' Music Teacher PD Presenters. To receive a Level 3 Certificate you will need to:-
- Have constant contact with Leonie regarding training process for new Educators
- Conduct at least 5 Workshops each year. This will provide opportunity for a potential educator to observe you conducting an Workshop and will also keep you active in your presenting
- Complete a training weekend on all books & CDs of the You Gotta Get Up series
- Follow the above steps for a Level 1 and Level 2 Teacher PD Presenter
